All soldiers are this bad ass all the time... Always
This November has an all-star line-up of  video release this year. In this month alone Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, HALO 4, and a whole slew of video games nobody cares about are all being released. What if you don't have enough money to get them all? What if you only have enough for one game? Well you can narrow down the field by getting rid of the slew of games nobody cares about. Now you left with two top-notch games. Well let's dive in head first (like Pete Rose), and figure out which deserves your sixty bucks.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
Fortunately for those who are already familiar with the Call of Duty franchise, Black Ops 2 will be familiar territory. They retained many of the same features you know and love. Treyarch did a good job keeping things fresh by introducing a few new features. The first feature will be favored mostly by the...less skilled...players our there. There are seven "levels", and the higher the player skill the higher level they will be in. You will be mostly matched up with members in the same level as you. So rookies play against rookies and legends go against legends. Another new feature is called SHOUTcasting, Before the match begins the player decides to be a SHOUTcaster instead of normal foot soldier for their team. The SHOUT caster has a bird's eye few and can bark orders to other team members and feed them live information. I believe the less skilled members will also take advantages of this more.

HALO 4

Now many die hard HALO fans are skeptical about this game. It is the first one not produced by Bungie, but by 343 instead. Well worry no more, 343 did a great job with the game. The visuals, while not revolutionary, are breathtaking. The experience feels almost fresh. A big part of Halo is the multiplayer. 343 hasn't messed with it  a whole lot. After all, why mess with something that isn't broken. The maps, while unimaginative, remain balanced and exciting. HALO 4 is a success in every way. It has a great single player story line, intense multiplayer battles, and it will undoubtedly sell millions of copies. With 343 at the help and having this much success you will have a great time with HALO 4 (And HALO 5 when it is released....It will be released)

Conclusion
While neither game is revolutionary or ground breaking, both are absolutely phenomenal games and will have the millions of copies sold because of it (I think Call of Duty will outsell HALO).  While Call of Duty has an engaging and fun story line I think HALO did a better job with theirs. While HALO offers intense multiplayer maps I thought Call of Duty adds more diversity and specialization. Personally I have always had lent towards Call of Duty over HALO since the beginning of time so you can damn well bet I am getting that ASAP. My roommate got HALO the day it came out. It all depends on which series you like playing more (If you have never played either series you have bigger problems). Have fun and happy hunting,
